About the role
Works closely with and have impact on: Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Operations
Reports to: Project Manager (Global Projects)
Function: Global Commercial
Work Location/Site: Singapore / Global Headquarters
Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that assigned project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in line with expectations. This role works very closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Assurance (QA), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Marketing, and Sales, and must facilitate collaboration to drive project progress, with focus on global market and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage assigned project and adapt work as required proactively
- Coordinate internal resources to execute project effectively and ensure resource allocation
- Ensure that all project milestones are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Identify gaps, risks and roadblocks in the project workstreams, gather supporting data, solve problems to drive project outcomes
- Proactively identify and manage risks in projects with required mitigation actions
- Escalate any risks and resource needs identified in projects and/or workstreams to management as required
- Communicate effectively on project progress, risks and mitigation plan on a regular basis
- Measure project performance thru established KPIs and report to management regularly
- Conduct data analysis for project planning purposes
- Develop and/or modify project plans and track their progress
- Lead project (workstream) core team meetings
- Create and maintain all required project documentation
- Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for management
- Prepare updates for the Steering Committee
- Provide mentorship to team member to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a related area (project management, medical device, pharmaceutical biotechnology etc)
- Proven working experience as a project manager with successful projects accomplishment history and ability to champion cross-functional project team by deploying the project management processes
- A PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is preferred.
Skills/Accreditations
- Capable of actively collaborating with various stakeholders, demonstrating a servant leadership mindset
- Self-starter and the ability to proactively drive initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Advanced data analysis skill and MS Excel skills
- Strong business acumen and financial analytical skill
- Knowledge and experience in medical device industry is a plus
- Basic finance knowledge will be an advantage
- Comfortable working across global site locations and time zones
Academic Qualifications
- At least bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management
Travel requirements
- Up to 20% of time
