Function: Global IT
Role Overview
This individual will play a pivotal role to lead and manage cybersecurity initiatives across the organization globally. We are looking for a proactive individual with a proven track record in managing and leading cybersecurity teams to fill this position.
The ideal candidate is required to have experience in developing and implementing robust cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, data protection, and security incident management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cybersecurity framework using NIST, CSF and CIS Controls
- Lead vulnerability management program, including regular assessments, remediation, and reporting
- Oversee data protection strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information
- Manage security incident response processes, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of internal IT systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into all aspects of the organization
- Evaluate and assess the security maturity of third-party vendors, IT products, and systems to ensure compliance with the organization’s security standards
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the cybersecurity team
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 15 years work experience within IT security
- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in vulnerability management, data protection, and security incident management
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud and native security solutions is required
Skills/Accreditations
- In-depth knowledge of security framework NIST CSF and CIS controls
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity (e.g., GDPR, FDA, etc)
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Comfort communicating security risks and controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, computer engineering, or IT equivalent
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
Travel requirements
- 10%-15% of time
